HELP!!!! yes im asking for help, anyway I'm Trying To Make A 6 Spoke Wheel With 5 Lug/hub Holes...........

well I made this wheel here, but the only thing is my middle area is a big n-gon and under that n-gon is a ton of tris, thus I am not able to make it cave in like the rest of the wheel, thats why its flat.

Does anyone know of anyway of making wheels with different spoke and hub holes and still be able to make it cave in or out like as if they were all still quads? In max and maya you can edit the n-gon like a set of quads, but not in c4d, anyway anyone have any ideas. Andybuck???? Vozzz? L-x? Snipehunter4?

btw, the dang wheel took 3 hours, spent a whole hour and a half on figuring out a way of making the middle, I could have done booleans, but that would have been dumber than using the Giant n-gon.

Im also trying to make a 7 spoke wheel with 4 lug holes, if anyone has any tips or ideas, please help me out mates????!

try doing that are as a separate object that might help, make the rim first and then model the iner part the way u see fit, most likeley its gona be two objects and there might be a visable line but im sure u can make that disapear if u want
