New year Comparison

hey guys, been out cold for a while sorry about that. anyway im gonna start the new year(a little wee bit too late though) off with a comparison of my rendering style progression, the top is my style in 2005, in may or so i did the top render, the bottom one is last night, was browsing my old backup cd's for textures and found this little dusty jewel, so I cleaned it up a bit and now im showing her to you.

oh yeah i still dont know how to do HDR or real world reflections, so the reflections you see are of the car itself and the background.....also the background isnt my usual gradient material, its well on the CD there was a softcare porn image that I really liked(back when I was a little perverted chap) placed it as a background used an alias 3 filter and mapped it as a circle map and moved it around and got this. she was laying on water and the background is a distorted portion of the water, the yellow is her body...
