backstory: this was made after 2 months of learning the program, mind you it was about 15 minutes a day in school(one hour classes but playtime wasnt until the last 15 minutes of the class), after about 2 months i bought the program version R7(I currently own R10), this was back in 2003 when R8 was out already i think, but r7 was cheaper and was what we used in school. anyway did this video for a contest but since the rules stated that i couldnt use non royalty free music without the artists concent, i wasnt able to enter, since the video was music driven meaning it went with the beat and events in the song.
I did later get the permission but that was way after it was over. rendered the sucker in 320x240 as i didnt learn how to adjust the render size yet. and was in a rush to finish the video.....i had 2 days, so the first day was buy a new computer, 2nd was well, everything, making the models, picking the song, storyboarding......not much...animate, render, and then put everything together....it was done on a 1.6ghz Pentium 4.......lol....good thing i didnt know how to change the render resolution.
ok enough blabbing and the video of the ferrari modena 360, well a spin of the car with its colors transitioning from color to color, the material used was a cheen, and im guessing its not made for transitions, so during the transitions, the reflections get blotchy, and its all done in c4d, no post work done for the color changes.

or here if you want a better quality

basically when the glitches start, that means that the color is changing/transitioning. file is 16mb and is one minute long, so expect wait time for those that have a connect slower than 3MB/second.
